CROWNED is The Good Fight's point system for individual competitors and the schools they represent. When a competitor competes at The Good Fight BJJ tournament he or she will earn individual and team points each time they place 1st, 2nd, 3rd or 4th place in their division. The more divisions you win at, the more opportunity there is to earn points for yourself and the academy you represent.
Here is the breakdown of how Crowned points are earned.
1st Place: Every time a competitor places 1st he or she will earn 15 individual points and 15 team points.
2nd Place: Every time a competitors places 2nd he or she will earn 10 individual points and 10 team points.
3rd Place: Every time a competitor places 3rd he or she will earn 5 individual points and 5 team points.
4th Place: Every time a competitor places 4th he or she will earn 2 individual points and 2 team points.
If a competitor enter more than 1 division at a given tournament they will have the chance to accumulate more points for themselves and for their team. For example: If you win 1st place in Gi and 2nd place in No-Gi your total points earned for that tournament will be 25. Absolute divisions count toward individual and team points. So, if you place in your respective Absolute division those points will be added as well.
